When we were in college, Roz shortened her name from Roselind to Roz.  She said that when she get married, she'll keep her name Roz Li because she worked hard for the name.  I would like to do the same but I got sick and tired of spelling my name out constantly "Lilia del Rosario."  I was more than happy to change my name to Lilia R. Gamble.  If they ask how my name is spelled, I'll just mention the casino.

Anna is the daughter of my college best friend, Roz Li.  It is amazing that Roz has a striking resemblance to her deceased mom.  I called her mom my own because during my college days, I was all alone, my parents died and I'm the only child from their marriage.  Through my struggles in college, Roz witnessed my trials and tribulations and helped me through hard times.  We were just 18 or so years old when we graduated from architecture and we felt like we were on top of the world with our knowledge.
